hmm classes went surprisingly well...luckily she didn't quiz us on verbs...we stuck to aspect which i am usually smart on but wow she threw me for a loop when she said you can use words like "toujours" with the passé composé...that shatters what i know o_o

lit went well...i did some of the evil packet and it wasn't really that evil...it feels like fake warm-up research...which in a way, it kind of is...

i still don't undestand the difference between cotes salles and cotes magasins tho...

i'm super interested in lit now...i really like the lectures our prof gives...it's too bad he has to work so hard tho...french lecture halls sounds are SO nosy. he has to eternally "please" everybody while tapping the mic...i understand most of what he says but it's sometimes hard to understand what he said and why he was saying it at the same time (or really ever cuz if you're not doing it when he says it you're not likely to have it dawn upon you later) i guess i could tape the lectures but most of the time it seems like my missing it is due to someone rustling or conversating far too loudly

i think next time i'll get over it and go sit up front further

cuz i really do like his lectures

also i still haven't talked to him...this is perhaps a problem

ah ha and i also discovered that there is more time to this class than i thought...actually it comes out to six hours a week so i wonder if i get credit for all that...

and it's funny cuz did i already say that profs seem to feel like they can add time to their classes if they want? i think i did...but next week i have lit bright and early at 8 monday morning...it'll be good as long as i go to bed

last night i stayed up too late putting accents over russian verbs...too bad that was TOTALLY unimportant lol

i was hoping to get by today without a snack but it's sooo not gonna happen i had lunch at twelve and now i'm starving hahaha and i'm going to the MCJP which is SO open today so i can learn some honorifics and read like a banshee and write kanji till my arm falls off

i forgot to talk about the magical métro man o_o

i was riding home last night on the...four lol but i transfered from the seven cuz it was right after i left here and i was sitting there and there was this DUDE sitting across from this lady and her little boy. I missed what happened before cuz i had just gotten on the train but he was SUPER MAGICAL like the spirit of all French happiness or something. You NEVER see people who don't know each other talking in the subway and here he was with a long-stemmed rose and this hat and this jacket charming this little boy and trying to get him to sing a song. I thought HE would start singing any second. I felt like I was in a movie lol or really more like I was watching one. I wonder if anyone else in the car felt like that cuz many of the people there seemed interested in what was going on. If you think of the stereotypical French man-voice that sounds nice and happy and friendly then you are thinking of his. I dunno how this dude got so cheerful. Anyhow in the end the boy's mom was on the phone and the guy had to get off the train so he waved bye and the little boy was so cute and waved back how aDORable o_O Man it was the coolest thing in the world. I wish there were more people like that. I watched him walking down the quai as the train pulled away; he looked soooo happy :D
