Today I did indeed get my passport renewed. It took forever tho because they "lost" my stuff and the lady "found" it an hour and a half after I paid for it...I didn't know how long it was supposed to take so I just sat there...
and they didn't let me bring in my gameboy so I REALLY just sat there.
There were some spoiled-sounding kids on a trip to France-Greece-Turkey-Russia.
I can't seem to find that book...altho I have only tried two places.
I had so-so pasta for lunch from a convenient take-out place and now proceed to grab a cookie on my way home...
Technically I should clean but I might take a nap...I'm kinda tired.

That's so cool that those kids are going to greece, turkey, and russia. That's insaneness. But I guess I shouldn't feel good for them if they're complete strangers, and not even that, just figures from speech. lol figures from speech...that doesn't make sense. peeps that were only talked about and never seen by moi.
hey duck...or whatever your name is. mine is apparently ricky. but umm, i'm reading that instinct of language stuff. and some of it is pretty interesting. about those tribes in some plateau that says white people's poop smells like their own. that was strangely knowledgeful. but anyway, yeah, uhh, I understand what he's trying to say, but some of his sentences, they seem a little off.
Like he said that "all the things that come out of our mouths are new and have never been spoken before. And I understand that it's not his philosophy but that psychologist, and I understand what he means is that language is so infinite, but really. I can read that sentence outloud and it's prolly been said outloud before. So in actuality there is a limited amount of things a person can say. As long as they don't start making up their own words. but just things like "hi, how are you" aren't very limitless and new or whatever.
yeah it's true that "all" is a bit out of place...but "hi, how are you" is a social game. this is what i wrote to dylan today about language:
i'm trying to actively appreciate being fluent in english
so i try to remind myself how great it is
and how much english i know
and all the crazy things i can do with it
like understand puns
and say anything
maybe i don't speak the most educated or polished english
but i still can say whatever i want
maybe in not the most pristine way
but i can get any point across
without even thinking
WITHOUT EVEN THINKING
that is the most amazing thing in the world to me
i almost want to die
cuz it's so amazing that what else is there
you know?
--being fluent in something is such an amazing thing that it makes my whole life feel pointless
maybe i'm just depressed...
